Hi,
Can anybody tell me what sort of speed I should be able to get from
a RISC PC with a Courier HST DS+ running FreeNet. My FTP downloads tend
to come in at about 1200 cps, on a good day. Is this about right, or
could I improve things somehow? I haven't done much tweaking of things
to get better speeds, so far.

The only reson I ask, is that I've seen figures in the 2400 cps range
quoted round here occasionally. Is this just down to better hardware,
or can I do things I've not noticed to improve my speeds?

Thanks for any help, (even just confirmation that I've got the best
I can!)
