Any chance of an automatic mirror on the Demon ftp site, either of the full
Freenet site, or just the ArcWeb directory?  I did suggest this to James
Coates many moons ago during his brief sojourn as Demon's Acorn guru (do
they have one now?), and he said he would suggest it to Malcolm Muir, but
nothing seems to have happened.

Whilst I'm sure the whole Acorn Internet community is very grateful to
Southampton for hosting the site, access is frequently slow, and is no doubt
putting a strain on their resources.
