I've just uploaded an FTP command-line client for FreeNet to:

ftp://cslib.ecs.soton.ac.uk/pub/Acorn/freenet/n.tarrant/

download 'FTPClint01' (currently the only file in there).

It's VERY beta ATM, and is meant as an intrim measure until I can finish
the wimp-based version (with Risc OS filer like operation).

Currently you can logon, enter user details, passwords, change directory,
set ASCII or Image transfer mode, and of COURSE download files.

NO uploading yet, I'll add that soon.

It's woefully undertested ATM, and I'd appreciate some feeback.

NOTE: This ftp client is subject to RAPID developement, there could
conceivably be several upload versions a day (maybe ;-) ).

Oh, yeah, there ARE some instructions with it ;-)

Enjoy ...
