I think I'll stick with Clive's disclaimer, but....
Whilst as far as I can see A and B must be different, the B and C addresses
(either side of AUNLink) are working quite happily as the same address on
my setup (which is...)
Demon---(SLIP)---158.152.75.99 KA9Q port ax0
10.0.0.1 Acorn port ka0---(AUNLink)---10.0.0.1 KA9Q port ka0
10.0.0.2 Acorn port eb0---ethernet to my disused A5000
I do find it irritating that Access messages get chucked down every port,
and I can't stop them from reaching KA9Q. Moreover, they are picked up
as valid packets by KA9Q under some circumstances - I telnetted to KA9Q from
Acorn and hence went into the chat thingy, and every now and then I'd get
a broadcast to do with the remote printers come up in the window. Talking
of which, has Acorn or ANT or anyone published the protocols used by Access
yet?
