Before going any further, I'll point out that I posted my (ie. "Stewart's
message") message from wuzz.demon.co.uk which is running Linux.  The article
was therefore handled by INN locally before being uploaded to Demon (presumably
via IHAVE) and should not have been touched by Demon's s/w.
