It's the way morley do it - obviously they execute a dir or similar command
to mount the disk, whereas the best way of causing filecore to mount the
disk but not set the CSD is to do something like read the attributes of
the $ directory object (what our filers do). I didn't know the morley
software did it, I'll shout at Gary today, I have to call him anyway....

I believe acorn released something like !IKHG which was a complete set
