Max sound frequency possible on A440?

Does anyone know what the MAXIMUM sound output frequency is on an A440 with
ARM3? I am trying to generate a sine wave output at about 100 KHZ and it
seemed that the Archimedes sound system might be able to manage this?

Any/All advice would be appreciated....

Kelvin.

Well, theoretically, yes, you just decrease the sample period of the sound
system, and then just play some very high notes, but I'd be very surprised
if the actual sound hardware can come close to coping with this - it seems
to have a certain amount of trouble working to its specification...

You can get it out of the VIDC, but probably not much further, particularly
not past the low pass filter. :-)
