lockd weird behaviour (ISC 3.0)

I have some kind of puzzle.

I am running ISC 3.0, with TCP/IP 1.3 and NFS 2.2 installed.

My machine name is "wariat"; I do have an Ethernet interface (wd0)
and SL/IP interfaces (sl0) configured.
My hosts file says :

127.1	localhost local
192.147.147.1	wariat wariat.org
192.147.147.17 wariatlo
192.147.147.18 maly maly.wariat.org
192.147.147.19 gazpacho.wariat.org gazpacho
192.147.147.20 brauhaus.wariat.org

Now, if I am assigning in /etc/netd.cf to wd0 name wariat,
everything is OK. if I will swap _names_ - and assign name
wariat to slip interface, and wariatlo to ethernet interface,
lockd is complaining:

lockd: udp_connect create to wariat failed
lockd: call_udp: removing cached entry
lockd: stat_mon: RPC: Port mapper failure

But NFS still works... I am at lost. Why lockd require from me
to use machine name on ethernet interface ???

An pointer to description, or hints are welcome. Yes, I am reading
TFM but I am confused.

Replies (especially flames :-) by e-mail, please...
