Hi, I've just finished putting together the first beta version of a digital camera driver system which tries to enable host applications to utilise a digicam rather like a file on a hard disk. Providing streaming, on-the-fly conversion and so forth. The idea is to create a system where you can plug-in new drivers at a later date and use existing software. Rather like AHI. Basically one camera-type is supported at the moment, the Casio-QV which works with the following cameras: Casio QV-10a Casio QV-100 Casio QV-700 I have a shell-based test application and a plug-in GIO for Photogenics 2. I'm looking for beta-testers. If anyone has a Casio digicam get it touch. If you've got Photogenics as well all the better. Anyway if anyone's interested please email me. Cheers, Ben

I had a similar system a while back for any image source, a bit like
twain. Then another one appeared on Aminet...
(I still use mine, though :)

I have working drivers for the Kodak DC-240 camera. They will probably
work with minor modifications with DC200 and DC210 cameras too. I can
send you source and/or a link library, if you're interested.
I'm still working on these drivers. Most of the camera's functions are
covered though.

I've a QV-11, I don't get much time to play on the miggy these days, but I would be happy to try out the s/w for you on a A4000 with my camera.
