Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me out. I recently had a big hard drive crash and lost
my driver for my Power XL disk drive. I have got one installed as PC2 now - I am
running an A1500 with two internal drives - and I can't seem to get it to realise the
drive is there to write or format to. I have the following in my dosdriver icon:

C:Mount

and then

ACTIVATE=1
UNIT=2

and my mountlist is as follows:

/* CrossDOS file system entry
 *
 * This file enables CrossDOS on the built-in floppy drive normally
 * referred to as DF0:. PC1 does the same for DF1. By creating new versions
 * of this file and changing the Unit line to use other numbers, you can
 * make CrossDOS available on other devices. For example, changing the value
 * of Unit to 2 would create a mount file that would enable CrossDOS on DF2.
 */

FileSystem	= L:CrossDOSFileSystem
Device		= mfm.device
Unit		= 0
Flags		= 1
Surfaces	= 2
BlocksPerTrack	= 18
Reserved	= 1
Interleave	= 0
LowCyl		= 0
HighCyl		= 79
Buffers		= 5
BufMemType	= 0
StackSize	= 600
Priority	= 5
GlobVec		= -1
DosType		= 0x4D534400

I can read and write 1.76meg floppies and also I can do Mac ones, so before you ask I have already
installed the required software patch! :)

If you can help me out of this problem I will be very happy as I need to transfer a load of archived PC files to floppy for a friend.

Thanks in advance.
