Bit of a weird question--
Is it possible to plug an IBM compatible sound card--say one with
wavetable synth--into the PC slots in an A4000, and use it via MIDI
WITHOUT having a bridgecard (intel comp processor) also installed in the
system?
After all, it should get all the power it needs from the bus.
If not, would a cheap bridgecard suffice? (an 8086 board?)
Thanks, Doug

Hi, : Is it possible to plug an IBM compatible sound card--say one with : wavetable synth--into the PC slots in an A4000, and use it via MIDI : WITHOUT having a bridgecard (intel comp processor) also installed in the : system? I think the new AMIGA have a adapter to plug any Sound-Graphic-Card into the new AMIGA....but i'm not sure... Hmm is it possible to buy a adapter for an old amiga like amiga1200??, to put a GUS into the slot.... bye Sascha Dages
