IDE CD Digital Audio Extraction Possible?

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if there is any program available on
the Amiga that can/will extract digital audio from the IDE
Toshiba XM-5302B CD-Rom drive (rev 1095).
This CD-Rom drive is installed in an A4000 using IDE-fix
(v105.2) & 4x IDE Adapter, with on the first cable 2 IDE
harddisks and on the other cable the CD-Rom drive (as
master).

The CD-Rom Player and Extractor YACP v1.1(?) by Frank
Wurkner that is included with IDE-fix doesn't work with the
IDE CD-Rom drive, it doesn't recognize the Audio CD's.
YACP v1.2 on AmiNet also doesn't work and I cannot locate
YACP v1.3, it's not on AmiNet the last time I checked.
The other 'Extractor' programs on AmiNet also don't work,
they either crash the A4000 or they say something like
"SCSI: illegal request..."

I have asked in the pc cdrom newsgroup if the Toshiba does
support the nice feature of Digital Audio Extraction and the
response was that it does support it, so why doesn't any of
the Amiga programs work with the CD-Rom drive?
Is it the fault of the IDE-fix's atapi.device driver?
The extractor programs themselves? Or is there something
wrong with my Toshiba drive?

Any advice/pointers would be very welcome.
Thanks for your time.
