I have had my CD32 for a few months and just yesterday port 1 went fritzy. It continues to generate a signal like one of the pins is constantly active (a fire button?). I'm thinking it could be caused by static frying the interface chip (if there is one). Has anyone experienced anything similar? More importantly, can this be fixed easily?
