Hi dudes, This message to tell you i'm having more fun with my PSX than I ever had with my (dusty) CD32 ;-) This incredible machine can do all what we were dreaming of (see Doom, Tekken, Assault Rigs, RRR, etc ...) I've noticed that many PlayStation owners on rec.games.video.sony and alt.games.video.sony-playstation are or were Amiga/AmigaCD32 users ... Bye,

I must tell you I have more fun with my A4000 & CD_ROM and CD32 emulation than I could have a PSX... AND let's see you use a PSX to work with (like a CD32 and SX-1). Anyway, PSX can't be better 'cos you can't get Jetstrike on it :-) -- Ian Gledhill "What's so bad about being drunk? img4@aber.ac.uk Ask a glass of water." -- Douglas Adams http://www.aber.ac.uk/~img4 irc: IanG Level 35 Half-elf Mage.

PSX - What a pile of PANTS!!
The CD32 is the Ultimate CD Machine...
The CD32 can play FMV, the Latest DOOM clones and even transform into a
Computer via the SX1 or SX32..
Yeah as if a PSX will ever be able to render pictures, or compose
music...
PSX is a GAMES machine, for sad ex-SNES or ex-Megadrive owners, who are
complete wimps!!!!
--------------------------------><
Saturn - Sega's Worst Nightmare
PSX - A pile of Pants.. a crappy unexpandable games console
PC - The machine you must upgrade each month with a NEW processor
CD32 - Expandable in all respects ... Muchus Respectus Commodore for
this baby....
//
\X/ AMIGA CD32 - Have you got what it takes

And that's something I don't like, as I became too fond of that game lately. Apparently, they consider the CD32 too low-spec ... they should have a look at Sword of Sodan which came out several years ago and had HUGE and extremely good-looking sprites... on a plain A500!!! That was Discovery Software's work... and by judging from another game of theirs, a shoot'em'up called Hybris, with brilliant colours and sprites (think of a better version of Terra Cresta!) and arcade gameplay, I must say that they really knew how to make the most of an Amiga. I wonder if they would be interested to make games on Amigas again... if they could make Sword of Sodan on an A500, I bet they could convert modern arcade games with success. Moutos (just a funny nickname)

Strange isn't it... not all that long ago, people were writing excellent games
on 7Mhz OCS A500's with 512K. Take Xenon 2. It's still one of the best
shoot-em-ups I've seen on the Amiga.
I must say that s/w coders really don't seem to be making the most of the
Amiga any more. You tend to forget just how good the machine IS.
