Has anyone been able to get ShapeShifter to work with FreePPP (to run
Netscape, etc.)? I've got everything installed, but the PPP Control Panel has
the sad Mac face and says "PPP Down". Any clues?

I had nothen but problems using FreePPP! Get a copy of MacPPP, it's FREE
also, but seems to work a whole lot better.

Actually the FreePPP 2.5b4 has been released this week and its much more
stable with Open Transport (as supplied in system 7.5.3) and with the old
MacTCP panel.

Make sure that PPP is selected as the connection method in the TCP or
MacTCP control Panel.

Yeah, you don't seem to have MacTCP installed or setup correctly.
Well that was my problem anyways :)
