Copying executable files onto SS hard disk

Hi,

I have a problem with Shapeshifter. When I try to copy any mac programs from
the amiga side to the mac side, the Mac refuses to run the programs. It
decides that they are some sort of pc file and asks me for an application, if
I copy it via a pc disk. If I copy it via the mac handeler, the mac deciedes
it is a simpletext document, and tries to load it there (which fails, the file
is too big or something).

I am told that this shouldn't happen on a real mac, so I'm assuming it is a
problem with SS, but I could be wrong (never having used macs before...). What
I really want is to copy the First Class Client from the amiga side, so I can
download more mac programs natively...

I have also got this problem. It always gives me an error of -39,

I tried to change the file comments from ttxt to APPL. But with
no luck so far.

Probably it is a problem with this resource and data fork.
By the way, what is the difference ?
