Help!! Want to make ComicBook with Amiga!!

I want to make a comic book using my Amiga 4000. My friend is trying to talk me into
buying a PowerMac to do the job, but I am not giving into that temptation. I will remain 
strong!! He thinks that I will have a hard time using my A4000 to get the job done.

I would appreciate any info on the software or hardware that
would be needed to produce a comic book with an A4000.
As of right now the only software that I have for this purpose is an Epson ES-600c
scanner, Brilliance,and Pagestream3.

 What other software/hardware is needed? (specifics please)
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I want to have a paperless art studio, and 
get rid of my drafting table!!! This will be my first attempt at computer art so any
suggested books on software and technique will be helpful
