The Ing. Buero Helfrich is developing Hard- & Software for MPEG
for the Amiga serie. We will sell a card for realtime decoding of
MPEG Video & Audio information this year. The current version
of the software encoder is only capable of doing MPEG video streams
(no sound :-( ). In the end we want to provide a system what allows
you to combine audio and video signals in a MPEG system stream.
The board will hopefully be available in summer 1994.

This is a hard job to do. MPEG encoding has high performance needs. For
example a 68030 at 25 Mhz needs about 1 minute to encode 1 frame (352x288 pixels)
and you need at least 24 of it PER SECOND.
