Heck, not really, if you think of the odds. :)

If 100 people own PII's and there are 100 manuals out there, then the
likelyhood of just 1 percent of them (in this example one person) having
their manual at work and reading the newsgroups isn't all THAT far
fetched.

It's like an old trick like that Uri Gueller self-proclaimed fake psychic
guy, the one who "bends" spoons, who went on TV a few years back and
claimed he could get all your stopped mechanicle watches to start again if
you just take them out of the drawer where you put them and lightly start
tapping them, they will start and be good as new again.

Of course with 100,000 people watching the show and 10 percent (10,000) do
just that and 1 percent of those of course are likely to start again when
you start tapping on them because they were just stuck a bit or you forgot
why you had it in the drawer in the first place, then 100 people start
calling the show saying just how WONDERFUL this *fake* is. ;)

Hey! Am *I* a sceptic who came from SALEM, MASS, USA where Witches were
burned?

Yep! ;)
