I use and recommend Varexx. It's on Aminet. It uses GadToolsBox files to
create the GUI. Lots of commands to work it too.

Varexx wont do this yet, but the author is working on something like that.
You could maybe Email him? His name is Andy Cook at amc93el@soton.ac.uk
to see how he is going, he is always interested in implementing new ideas.
