Can anybody direct me to a Paint/GFX program that will accept HAM8 or 24-bit images? One that works on a standard Amiga (AGA) display. I know Brillinace lets you paint and edit on a OCS/AGA screen, while retaining the actual 24-bit data. But I've used DPaint for so long that Brilliance makes no sense to me. I had ImageFX 2.1 but it'a not working right anymore. Is there a version of DPaint that retains 24-bit data? I know DPaint 4.5 AGA, but I doubt it retains 24-bit data. I've heard there's a DPaint 5 but have never seen it. I've heard of some other programs like CloantoPaint or ProPaint or PixelPaint or ProfessionalPaint or PersonalPaint. Didn't one or more of them get released into the public domain for free? NewTek also released one but I think it required the Toaster card. If anybody can help me out on this, I'd appreciate it.
