	hey all!

my sis got her ol' A500 hooked up and she wants an off line email
reader for it - yep i'm looking for some names of some so fire away

Specs:

A500, 1Mb(+ a bit), OCS, w HD expansion, (and some other stuff.)

also the hard drive has a problem in the startup script:

instead of: assign blahblah: yackiti:shmakity
it has : assin blahblah: yackiti:shmakity

but this big 'oops' is way up in the script so the hard disk isn't being
recognized, so she can't access it cause the script also fails at 20
instead of 21 (ie Failat 20 not Failat 21)

give me _ANY_ ideas on this one please cause the next time i'll be near
the computer my connection here will be totaly unavailable for a long
long time.

a little update:

oh ya - she's hooked up via modem to a connection site
(no i don't know why they don't have there own email reader)
and also she most doesn't want to deal with all this TCP/IP and MUI extra
stuff. make it simple, it is an old computer.

(that's all message continues..)

Well I don't know how she is going to transfer Email to her offline email
reader unless she uses Ami/TCP or Mlink. Thor is a good non-mui one that does
email and usenet. For just email YAM is quick and easy plus its FREEware.
You still need to setup Amitcp or Mlink though. BTW I really like YAM!

Try CTRL D as soon as you reset. This will halt the start up and drop you
into shell. The type sys:c/ed sys:s/startup-sequence and fix the boo-boo.
Save and exit and you should be ok.
