So what about giving the informations you can supply. There have to be at least some, haven't they? >>As I said, not giving any information will force us, the amiga programers>to >>do our own mm software. >That's OK by me. Go for it. However, once "you >have started down the path" and you are in the thick of it, you'll finally >see it from my perspective and why I have answered your questions in the >manner that I have. That's something I do not understand. On one side you are speaking about not giving informations about the EX's because of fearing the competition from third parties and on the other side you're welcome other products... So you don't fear a new product because it can't be as good as yours ? So, without an offense, I believe that there are much "thing" missing in scala. So I think, to make a product with all the options scala already have plus the ones that are missing (real time control about every event, mixing effects/events, intuition-usage to name just some) would make a "real" multimedia program, as that can be found on other platforms (like premiere on mac/pc for instance) >Regards, >John Chang >____ >John Chang, Technical Support Manager, Scala, Inc. USA >Reply to: john.chang@scala.com, Scala Computer Television >Websites: http://www.scala.com or http://www.scala.no >"Multimedia by SCALA. Why Make It Harder?" It was not meant as an offense in any way, just a releave of the frustation about the lack of support and further development. It gives a felling of becoming a minority when stil programing for the amiga. ___________________________________________________________ "Nevertheless smart people still need to eat and pay rent."
