We just released v1.04 of MAB which introduces (among others) mix samples.
These samples can be mixed into running background music like .MODs, OctaMED
etc. This way you can play up to four samples at the same time.

 It has a few effects, like text scrolls, picture rotates,
: transitions, etc.  All in all a nice 24 bit multimedia program, with great
: Arexx support.  It even has an intuitive interface, which earlier
: MainActor versions could NOT boast!

Scala still has much more effects than MAB, we dont release new effects
currently as we are working on a timeline based graphic and sound
effect engine which we will introduce in v1.5. The update will be free.
