Default wipes/fonts on ScalaMM211?

Maybe a stoopid question but anyway: why when creating a new script or
loading several pages the 'Excrawl south' wipe appears as selected
transition for every page on my partner's A4000 and not on mine? (both
identical Workbench/System/RAM/assignments). Also, is there a way to set a
font as a 'default' so it's selected automatically when texting a new
page? In other words, why one font appears on  a new page and not another?
And sometimes it appears as outlined/shadow from scratch... ???
