Improved SCALA speed?

I remember reading a week or so ago that someone said they got improved
speed and smoother performance from SCALA MM300 when they used another
software program in conjunction with it. I also seem to remember John
Chang writing that he would check it out when he had the time.

Does anyone remember what the program was and whether it worked as I
seem to remember. Sorry to be so vague but life goes on.

Program is called Ami-File Safe, distributed in North America by Intangible
Assets Manufacturing. Their Website is http://www.iam.com.

I regret that I have not had time to conduct tests yet.

YES!! My memory actually did not fail me!
I believe this was AFS (Ami-File System), a professional fast
file system that replaces FFS, and is much faster.
