Sure I know what his problem is.
: THOR has been working Great for me. If
: you just READ THE MANUAL you won't have any problems.
I don't know who this manual was written for, but surely
not for people familiar with standard (UNIX) TCP/IP
packages.
Eventually, I got it to fetch Mail and News but I really don't think
it's worth the trouble.
: well give VooDoo a Try then, Of course if you can't use THOR for some strange
: reson, maybe you'll have problems with VooDoo also,
Voodoo looks great but sure needs a lot of work with the User
Interface (not GUI, hint: easy *and fast* control via keyboard)
If only I had time to write a useable mail/newsreader ...
perhaps I should take a year unpaid vacation... ;-)
BTW anyone got IntuiNews to run with POP/NNTP ? (without UUCP)
Would that work ?
Tom.
