The most obvious problem is that you didn't install the correct nameserver
when you installed AmiTCP (I think that's what you meant when you said
AmiNet).

When you enter an address in AMosaic, it sends that address to your
nameserver. You see, the internet calls everything by numbers like
128.32.142.1 or 119.112.32.3. The nameserver converts something like
www.someplace.com to it's actual number address like 142.23.22.1. Once AMosaic
gets the REAL address, it sends your request out so that the internet can
understand it.
