        I managed to get AWeb to start a second time, by clicking directly on
the archived version, not the one "installed".

        Copying that version to the installed location didn't work.

        Then it hit me.  The archived version did not have an AWeb.prefs file!

        Deleting the AWeb.prefs created by the installer let AWeb work as
expected.  I then used the menus to set up the full configuration (I think...
need to add a few MIME types for images now...)
