Are you trying to tell us your ISP (and his newsserver) don't have a
telephone? With real people to answer it during business hours?

I find that a bit difficult to swallow.

In real life, your ISP may not be the same as the newsserver since
thats often a bit closer to the backbone of the net than your ISP is,
and a contracted out service your ISP has to pay for in order to be
able to furnish you with news. A call to your ISP should get you the
voice number of someone at the newsserver site if you ask for it.
