Several of us at our location have attempted to make the local loopback work without any luck so far. First, the startnet script does not mount TCP: Second, when we mount it by hand, things that need lo0 then say its connection refused. I'm under the impression that unless we get TCP: successfully mounted during the startup, nothing in the way of a local loopback can be made to work. Is this correct?, and if so, how the heck do I get any step by step from startnet to be logged for troubleshooting. I'm using dialup1.06, so all I see is the dialup window, and the AmiCTP logging window which does not show any local actions other than ppp0's on/offline status.
