On or around Tue, 02 Apr 96, Root is alledged to have muttered something along the lines of - R> You are right .. MUI must be a standard for amiga, Amiga-Tech seems to think the R> same way, the Surfer package shows this, with the exeption of VooDoo ,all the R> other clients are MUI appz. No no no no NO!!!!! MUI must NOT become part of the AmigaOS - MUI is slow and big (faster these days, but still too big and slow) The *concepts* behind MUI should be incorporated - MUI is a good idea but badly implemented. Besides, AT have NOT indicated that they thing MUI should be part of the system. It is used by SOME of the Surfer apps, but so is VooDoo... They simply used what they felt to be the most suitable versions of net applications available at the time. TTFN, Keith. -- Old programmers never die... ...they just GOSUB without a RETURN.
