This is great, but what if the dog comes into the room and knocks over something big (resulting in alot of % diffrence), then the entire effect is messed. But this would work for a locked room (Or maybe if the clean pic is updated every few minutes) > There is a commercial system like this for PC's that I looked at a few > years ago. But it was fun > having a camera the size of a postage stamp! I should have made this clear before, this system is just for fun/remote monitoring of my room. I have a small black and white camera, and (now thankfully) an A2000 with Framegrabber (and Toaster in a few days). I want to be able to access pictures of my room from remote locations for fun, and maybe for a bit of security. An extra I am thinking of adding is buying a Serial I/O card and connecting a photcell to it. I'll rig up a strong laser pointer to it, add a few mirrors and whenever one of the beams is broken then the Amiga snaps a picture. (I know this is begoining to get a bit off topic), does anyone know about the NETWORKING part of this application. I have 0 knowledge about Amiga and TCP. Is there any kind of PLIP (Notice, this is not SLIP, PLIP = parellel line interface protocol) software for Amigas?
