Can Alynx use mail-to tags?

I have tried any times to use Alnyx's "built-in" mail-to feature
but when I send it along, it goes through the motions of sending
it, but the modem lights aren't flashing accordingly.  Does anyone
else have this problem and know how to fix it?

BTW, I am using Alynx 1.31.

       Using registered AmiTCP 4.2 and reg. PPP1.44beta.
