I'm going to assume you are talking about my AmigaMUD system that I posted about a couple of days ago. If not, see later. First, we have to wait for some kind soul out there to put the system up on an Amiga on the Internet and tell us about it. That telling would including the Internet name of the machine and the port that AmigaMUD is running at, if its not the defaults I set up. Then, you have to have AmiTCP/IP setup on your machine, and up and running with a connection to your Internet service provider. Then, assuming you have AmigaMUD installed, you would enter the CLI command: run MUD <hostname> [<portname>] where <hostname> is the abovementioned Internet machine name, and <portname>, if needed, is the abovementioned port number. Everything should then just happen. If you are a Workbench user, then you would edit the MUD icon and put the machine name and port in with the IPHOST and IPPORT tooltypes, then double click on the icon If you are talking about other MUDs, then you still need AmiTCP/IP (or some other networking package) up and running, and then you would use the 'telnet' command from a CLI, as in: telnet <hostname> <portname> -- Chris Gray cg@ami-cg.GraySage.Edmonton.AB.CA
