All I did was add the CD option to the ppp config line. When
my computer crashes or whatever, I just reboot and execute
startnet again. When it sees that a carrier is still
present, it just renegotiates the dynamic IP address and away
I go. Of course, I've set my modem to ignore DTR with the
AT&D0 command. I am using PPP 1.45 registered and AmiTCP
4.3.
