I am cross posting this between my ISP
and the AMIGA networking help NG

I am trying to connect my amiga to a standard static SLIP
on my ISP.

I am using TERM as the dialer.

I type in my ID
I type in my Password

my ISP sends me back "invalid login"

My ISP tells me that a winsock compliant dialer does somthing that a
ascii terminal program dosent, and thats why I cant get in.

I say they are giving me a bogus pw or login

I'm using amitcp3.0b2 and rhslip.device.

any comments?
