Hi Folks !

Is it possible to use a proxy with the IBrowse Demo ( R5 ) ?

I tried to set it up in the prefs, but it didn't work ...

Ahem. What do you mean with "it didn't work"? Do you get somethin like "Sorry,
IBrowse couldn't find the specified URL..." If so, it might be that you've
made a typing error or something other.

My proxy settings are the following:

   HTTP: http://www-proxy.vip.at:8080/
    FTP: ftp://ftp-proxy.vip.at:8080/

I know that ftp doesn't work with IBrowse at present, but you should never
abandon hope. ;-)

Yes.

You need to enter the whole URL: http://proxy:port
