I beg to differ. It is VERY useful to have a terminal window that is larger
than 80*25/132*25. I normally use 72 columns in interlace or 36 in noninterlace.
This is a BIG win for me and many other I know.

I agree with that. 640*200 or 640*400 just doesn't look right when
your system is using 704*284/704*568 normally. And he shouldn't adapt
to PAL. He should adapt to whatever resolution is the default in the
system (i.e, check the workbench screen).
