    There is a significant difference between efficient use of programmers time
and laziness.  Considering the cost of software development and the relative
productivity of higher-level languages, I'm constantly amazed that there are
still folks around who believe that assembly is suitable for general purpose
programming.  Assembly has its place, but if you ever plan on making a living
at it, you had better get off your high horse and find a more efficient
method for meeting the customer's needs.
