 Subject: 1084 MONITOR V-HOLD ???

Hi fellow Amigos ,

My 1084 monitor is scrolling horizontal lines vertically off the screen when
I use the composite input. Like a bad TV picture.
I use the composite input sometimes hooked up to my vcr to watch movies,
when I'm not using my Amiga for a computer.
There does not seem to be a V-HOLD knob on the monitor and I have tried all the
knobs on the outside of the monitor.

How can I adjust the V-HOLD, as my monitor is now useless for composite input.
I have opened the monitor and looked inside for things to adjust, but I am not
an expert in hardware and don't really know where to look.

A few questions for you hardware experts :

How Do I adjust the V-HOLD ? Is it easy enough for me to do myself ?
Could someone email me instructions on how to do this.

If I cannot adjust the V-HOLD myself, can my monitor be repaired ?
Where should I take it for repairs ? Joe's TV repair shop or Commodore.
How much do you think it will cost ?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Frank Wong
