Hi
I'm Having a few problems with AmigaUUCP 1.17
I am an ISP and have used AmigaUUCP for about 2 years myself previously
to this work.
I have two other users who use AmigaUUCP 1.17
The problem I have been having is with a A1200/40 with an Elcon 14400 modem
after the handshake the modem just hangs up and uucico returns.
The Log file says it didn't get expected ogin:
Help
I've tried swapping modems and cable but to no avail I suspect their serial
controller but they have had it checked out and the h/w person reckons it's
fine.
But Amiga h/w people are not what they used to be 8-(((
At least in this part of the world.
Is there a way I can get it to use s/w handshaking although I don't think
that's the prob (or at least not entirely) as Term works fine. But then again
ppp1.30 only worked with a software hand shake.

Again I'm baffled.
Help
PLEASE
Chris

You could check the timeout field in the uulib:config file and try the -xx
commandline switch on uucico. This will send debug informaion about the login
handshake...

I've tried the timeout it makes no difference but will try -xx and see if that
helps.
