Is there a rexx command that allows you to read a message from a channel?

The getline and getlastline only deal with private messages.

BTE  is there a fileserver script for AMirc available?

Yez there are plenty of them just go to aminet or ftp the AmIRC support
site. Most servers have many more options like auto-op features and
floodprotection. :-)
