Hine JHS, a public school in Southeast DC, wants to put five of its Apple //e's on the Internet, as "dumb terminals" on their Unix host. To do that, they're seeking five serial cards, preferably fast ones, five longish (20-30 ft) serial cables, and telecom shareware/freeware that emulates vt-100s. They'd prefer a donation, of course, but some money is available to purchase these items, if necessary. If you've got any or all this -- used is fine -- available to donate or sell, please email me. I'm one of the volunteers working with the teachers, staff, and students there. Thanks. Christoph Berendes volunteer Internet coordinator Hine JHS 7th St. and Penn. Ave, SE, oppo.
