My understanding is once I set auxtype to DC00 for a non-compliant application, GNO no longer buffers the keyboard and therefore cannot intercept the ^Z necessary to suspend the process and return to gsh. Is this correct? In other words, I can only exit these programs (including desktop ones), not suspend them? --Devin glyn@cs.ualberta.ca

Correct. GNO 1.1 will provide some features to allow you to suspend desktop applications (strictly speaking, they're compliant, but 'nifty-feature' support for them is slim right now. -- Jawaid Bazyar | Ask me about the GNO Multitasking Environment Procyon, Inc. | for the Apple IIgs! bazyar@cs.uiuc.edu | P.O Box 620334 --Apple II Forever!-- | Littleton, CO 80162-0334 (303) 933-4649
