Just ported the un*x ctags, it will be posted to cba2 in the next few days,
(sorry can't ftp to pindarus, I only get as far as 128.174.56.2 and then
time out ).

If you don't know what ctags is, it can be run on all your .c files to
generate a list of functions in the 'tags' file. This tags file can
be used in stevie to jump to the function. Position the cursor at the
subroutines name and type cntrl-shift ], and the function will be
displayed.

I use it all the time when developing progs, you don't have to remember
where all the subroutines are.

Let me know what you think.

RACTER was, as far as I know, not written in C, but with a special
utility that is normally used to generate customized mass-mail generators.
(So next time you get a load of slightly varied "Buy our stuff" mail,
you know how it was created ;).

As far as I know, RACTER is still commercial and can be had from

Nickers International, Ltd.
