Getopt lib not restartable?

I've been trying to make mkdir restartable, but am having problems. During
the second execution getopt returns EOF (-1) when first called, when it
should be returning an option. I've checked all my code, and there isn't
anything I'm not initializing at run time. So, it seems that there is
something in the getopt lib that prevents it from being restartable...

There are three or so global variables that getopt() keeps; you need
to initialize those to their proper values in main().

Seems like you just answered your other question about making
programs restartable... :)

I supposed it wouldn't be hard to make a program restartable,
but for me it's a question of time. I supposed if a program is
written with the fact that it would be restartable in mind would make
the task a lot easier. Maybe I'll reassemble a program with different
quit parameters and see what happens.

Hmm, aren't there some very pressing things that need to be
done? :) We'll worry about restartable programs in a few days...

As for my part, I'm done with just about everything... I need
to work on the sound drivers, put in an about screen, and put in
"demo" mode. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry
about it... it'll be out real soon now.
