2 questions: gnobug init & direct256.root

The subject line kind of says it; I saw these two on Pindarus, and
was wondering:

	1. What does the gnobug init fix?

	2. What is direct256.root supposed to be (besides a OMF file:)?

Thanks.

gnobug is an init to make gsbug work with gno. It should be placed
before gsbug (make sure your directory is sorted accordingly) to be
effective.

If you are using Orca/C 1.3 or earlier, this is to allow you to force
your program to use the stack that GS/OS allocates, rather than the
one Orca allocates. C 2.0 fixes this. To use it with pre-2.0, just
#pragma stacksize #, and make sure to link the direct.256 file with
your other object modules.

Close.. it makes GSBug's OS call trapping work with GNO.

No. cleanstart does that (now obsolete due to 2.0). direct256.root just makes the
non-used direct page segment small (256 bytes as opposed to 4k). The program
still uses the stack allocated by ORCA/C via the MM, but it does not waste that
much stack space as it did before.

Anyway, this is a moot point, as no one should use 1.3 now that 2.0 is out :)
