Hi all,

I'm selling my obscenely complete Apple IIgs ROM 01, and ALL of my vintage
Apple hardware and software in one fell swoop.

**This lot must be picked up from my apartment in Hinsdale, IL. (a western
burb of Chicago in Dupage county) ** I will not ship anywhere and I will not
break up the collection. ** All H/W is functional as is most of the S/W.

The main unit has a 4MB Ultra GS RAM card (half populated), so 2.5 MB RAM
total. It also sports Apple's HS SCSI card, along w/ a 40 MB Western Digital
SCSI HD, a 500MB SCSI HD (in an Apple HDSC 20 case), Apple CD150 SCSI
CD-ROM (w/ 3 caddies), CP/M card, (2) 3.5" floppy drives, (2) 5.25" floppy
drives, (2) Kraft joysticks, Kensington IIgs Saver, KB, mouse, and the
regular Apple RGB monitor. The spare unit is just that, a spare Rom 01 w/ an
Apple 1MB RAM card and RGB monitor, no keyboard or mouse. I have mucho s/w.
I have games, several AppleWorks versions, paint programs, documentation,
cables, and public domain software on CD-ROM for the A2 line, also some CP/M
software is included. System 6.01 is installed on one HD and is on floppies
from Byteworks. Games include, boxed versions of King's Quest, Space Quest,
Bard's Tale, Rendevous w/ Rama, and Arkanoid. I have much, much
miscellaneous. You must agree to take this all outta here. Bring a friend.

Ok, that's a reasonable description of what I have. Now, to the chase. I'm
accepting emailed offers until Monday night (July 22), afterward whomever
has the most generous offer will be able to come here anytime to get their
instant collection of vintage Apple computer gear. I can accept paypal and
certainly Cash in Hand.

Don't hesitate to ask questions. Though, I'm pretty firm on *not* shipping
this lot, I am American so I can be bought out if you make it worth my time
and trouble. Keep in mind it won't be cheap at all. Thank you for looking.

First, you post saying you won't break up the collection, then you
won't ship anywhere for any reason (but you "are American", so you
could be "bought off" -- nice view of Americans). Now you're going to
put it up on eBay???

Perhaps if you were a bit less arrogant in your initial posting, you'd
have gotton some real offers...

Can't blame me for at least trying to get what I want. It is my equipment,
afterall. I'd rather not dole it out to 40 seperate people over 3 months
and I really hate shipping anything, much less a ton of stupid boxes.
Reducing complication (for me) is what I had in mind.

As far as my view of Americans...it's perfectly accurate in that we are all
subject to compromise if the price is right. Why is that offensive? It's the
American way.
