Hello, This is new and improved w/ more REAL information than the leading brand! View end of posting to see what i'm looking for. This is all my old Apple gear. I've maintained and enhanced this system for the better part of 4 years. *ROM 01 IIgs *4MB Ultra GS RAM card (half populated) *2.5 MB RAM total, 4.5 MB max *Apple High Speed SCSI card *40 MB SCSI HD by Western Digital (System 6.0.1 installed) *500MB SCSI HD (in an Apple HDSC 20 case) *Apple CD150 SCSI CD-ROM (w/ 3 caddies) *newish system battery *ALS 'Z Card' Z-80 card *(2) 3.5" floppy drives *(2) 5.25" floppy drives *(2) Kraft joysticks *dual joystick adapter *14.4k Supra modem *Kensington IIgs Saver *KB, mouse *Apple RGB monitor. *Spare ROM 01 CPU *Apple 1MB RAM card *RGB monitor *no keyboard or mouse *Original IIgs Owner's Guide *IIgs User's Guide *System 5.0 User's Guide *IIgs System Disk User's Guide *Guides for the floppy drives *Applesoft Basic manual *Imagwriter II manual *original AppleWorks spiral bound manuals *(2) 3rd party AppleWorks books *spiral bound "Kids and the Apple" *Lon Poole's "Apple II User's Guide" *misc printouts, tutorials, and printed A2 FAQs *6 issues of Nibble (1992) *6 or 7 issues of A+ (1986 - 1992) *several original Apple inserts, fold outs, sticker packs, ads *old price list *original Apple picking sheet for one of the systems. I have several boxes of blank 5.25" disks as well as 3 or 4 boxes of used disks that I have never gotten around to digging into. Most of the s/w is unboxed and there are just too many disks to list them all so I'll stick to what's relatively rare. *Facts On File "PDSOF" (Public Domain Software On File) CD-ROM. This is a CD-ROM collection of over 200 public domain s/w from the years 1980 to 1987. The CD is perfect as is it's jewel case and the 3-ring binder that holds it, the manual, and the 2 startup floppies. *Boxed version of Microsoft MultiPlan for Apple II's that have a Z-80 card and CP/M. I haven't tested it's functionality but it looks great in it's translucent "easel-box". It appears complete. *Beagle Brothers "Alpha Plot" still in it's translucent sleeve. An unused poster of Peeks, Pokes, and System Calls is folded in w/ the catalog, disk, and manual. *Activision's "Paint!, Write!, Draw!" WYSIWIG application suite. It's boxed and in good condition w/ original disks. *System 6.0.1 on floppies purchased from Byteworks System 6.01 is installed on the 40MB HD along w/ shrinkIT and binscii. I cannot verify the integrity of the compression utils I transfered. They are readily available online, however. The 500 MB HD has 2 ProDOS partitions and one larger HFS partition. Games include, boxed versions of King's Quest, Space Quest, Bard's Tale, Rendevous w/ Rama, and Arkanoid. It doesn't get much more detailed than this until you view it in person. BUT WAIT! I just found several Apple DiskWare packages w/ original DOS 3.3 and ProDOS system disks for older A2's. OK, items I'd trade this insane IIgs collection for include: *a decent digital camera *an older g3 mac box w/ some trimmings *older working imac *loaded PB 3400 *an anemic Kanga *a zippy pc laptop *some old janx spirit *cash money - $ I'll consider all offers of useful space saving computers and/or accessories. Thanks for reading this behemoth post. Comments and offers are are encouraged. Jason j.urquidez@attbi

Also, I am going to have to import some tables of symbolic labels to it, so I would hope it can handle several different kinds of label formats (you'd be amazed how many there can be) - one of them is bound to allow a modicum of tinkering until they can be acted on.

Sorry to hear you have a name like "tom foolery", and that you wasted time posting this to a group without your return address. I would be interested, if I could/would/should get a hold of you. Best of luck. He probably left it off to fool email address collecting bots to reduce his junk email. Me, I use a Hotmail address. (It doesn't matter with Hotmail because 99% of Hotmail users get tons of spam no matter what they do.) Don't worry about the period inside the first part of his address, either. That's also part of his address. imo, he should have mentioned how to make his address work...or, it's possible he set up his newsreader incorrectly, I suppose.

It's in *his* best interest to reduce problems with the transaction.

It *is* more beneficial to educate. That's what I did. And in this case, educating a newbie is the same as accommodating them. (Telling them about munging of email addresses.) A helpful note like, "Add .com to my address to make it work," is both educational and accommodating. You first wrote, "or maybe people should just familiarize themselves with the technology before they start whining about somebody else using it improperly." That did not sound to me like you were in favor of educating. Anyway, this thread is over for me. l8r
